We’re reimagining self-care and community building as a moment of culture, laughter, and good-hearted fun. Founded on the Southern spirit of hospitality, shuffled with Parisian savoir-faire, and set off with a dice roll of New York City hustler persona, we create limited-run mahjong sets in collaboration with globally renowned artists. ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Caroline first learned mahjong in January 2024 after taking a group lesson at a local boutique in Fairhope, AL. She immediately fell in love with the game and quickly purchased her first set of tiles. As time went on, she noticed how many women were becoming obsessed with collecting beautiful sets, mats, racks, and accessories — and how many were eager to learn the game for themselves.
What she loved most was how mahjong brought people together. When friends gathered around the table, everyone was off their phones, shuffling tiles, laughing, and creating memories. Caroline wanted to design sets that felt just as special as those moments.
With a background in business and a deep appreciation for the arts, she saw an opportunity to create something different — a brand that celebrates craftsmanship, original artwork, and the artists behind it. Partnering with her best friend, an incredibly talented illustrator, she began developing a collection that honors creativity and elevates the tradition of mahjong through thoughtful, art‑driven design.

Bex Schneider (@xobexstudio) is a multi-hyphenate artist and fashion illustrator based in Nashville and NYC. With a fast pen, eye for detail, and famously joyous style, she brings heartful presence back to our increasingly digital world, always signing off each creation with her signature, “xo, Bex.” Each work, a love note for the beholder.
